Library Periods
Every class from VI-X is allotted one library periods per week. The students can use the library, read newspapers and magazines, consult reference books and issue the books during their library periods. The books can be returned to the library at any time. Besides the students may utilise the library during their free time provided no other class is having a library period at that time.
Circulation 
Normally two books will be issued to a student for a period of 14 days. An overdue charge of Rs. 1/- per day will be charged in case of willful delay. Staff members can have a maximum of 5 books for a period of 14 days.
Reference Books
Reference books like encyclopedias and dictionaries will not be issued. These can be consulted in the library during the library periods. However, for the purpose project work and special assignments the students may get these books issued on request from the teacher concerned.
Magazines/Periodicals
Latest issues of the magazines will not be issued. The old issued of magazines and periodicals can be issued.
Class Libraries
The primary section from Class 1-5 is having class libraries. The class teachers will be provided with enough number books as per the level which may be utilized during the library periods. Magazines for the primary section are separately provided.
GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS:-
1)      Strict silence, decorum and discipline must be maintained in the Library.
2)      Students will enter the Library in queue along with a Pen and a Diary/Library Notebook.
3)      Go through the Guide Chart and be familiar with the arrangement of Documents.
4)      Don’t shelve the Documents if their locations are not confirmed.
5)      Read the Newspapers at the Newspaper Stand only, don’t remove them.
6)      Replace the Periodicals at their specified places after reading.
7)      Not a single Document is allowed to take out of the Library without getting it issued.
8)      Users’ belongings, Personal Books/ Periodicals, or even issued books are not allowed inside the Library for any purpose unless for returning.
9)      Computers are for educational use only. The use of the Internet in the Library is for reference work. Accessing unauthorized sites, playing games, chatting etc. are strictly prohibited.
10)   Do not install/uninstall any program/services and don’t change the settings on the Computers provided in the Library.
11)   On leaving the Library, all users are required to produce every issued document for Checking.
12)   When documents are issued, ensure the condition of the document and inform the Librarian, at the time of check in if any kind of damage is found the last Borrower shall be held responsible for the same and shall accordingly be fined.
13)   During power/system failure the Circulation Services will be suspended.
14)   Search the availability and location of the Documents through the Search Module of the Software by Author, Title, Publisher, etc. before going to concern shelf.
15)   No Document shall be returned on the day it has been issued.
16)   Any kind of damaging (underlining, making notes, scribbling, folding, tearing of pages, dog’s ear, mutilation, etc.) of Documents is punishable.
